It's a Beautiful Day for a Wedding ...

My last best friend from childhood (and I mean from "since diapers"!) got married on August 17 at the Jester Park Lodge near Granger, IA. My friend Thomas and I served as Emily's photographers ... here are a few of my shots! My friend Joel (a medical student at the University of Miami who is doing a research fellowship at Iowa for the year) also came along, and as my mother so graciously put it, "You're like the son I never had!" Joel even joined in my "family" photo! So, many congratulations, Jon and Emily --- it was an honor to photograph your wedding.
