My sister Katelyn and I had a fun time this morning meeting up with Susie, her husband Jon, and Robin and Nancy after she completed her umpteenth marathon in downtown Des Moines and scored a personal record of 3:22.56! I get my exercise vicariously through her! The highlight of the day was seeing Susie win first place in her age division AND checking out the man who ran the marathon BAREFOOTED and in a leopard-print loincloth. Yep, I said leopard print ... !

Love it! A friend of mine who recently finished her first marathon was happy to have finished before the guy who ran the entire thing backwards while juggling.
Like you, I'm happier toasting the participants from the sidelines!!
