Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of these things and still be calm in your heart.

The Big Apple

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to meet up with my dear friend Ana, a high school foreign exchange student from Argentina, and her mother, who were traveling through New York. I also introduced Lis and Ricardo to my old home, and we covered a great deal of the city in a 48-hour whirlwind ... Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, East Village, Union Square, Grand Central, Bryant Park, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, H&H Bagel, Zabar's grocery store, Liberty and Ellis, Wall Street, Ground Zero, St. Paul's Chapel, and a tiny bit of Central Park! (I took well over 400 pictures, but I'll spare you!!!)
