My birthday bonsai and me! This work of art is also 28 years old; the oldest bonsai in the museum was started in 1626!!!

Sunday I had the opportunity to visit the US National Arboretum in NE ... a phenomenal treasure right in our backyards! Lis, Ricardo, and I explored the bonsai collection, the herb garden, the koi pool, and a reflecting pool near former US Capitol columns ... a peaceful afternoon.
