I just finished a four-day AMSA (American Medical Student Association) Board of Trustees weekend meeting in Reston, VA ... just a half hour away from the city. Last year I was one of the Region VIII Trustees, and this year I am serving the first year of a two-year term as the Trustee-at-Large. In this role, I am responsible for maintaining our policies and procedures, running national elections, and lending a hand where I can on student projects. One thing is for sure ... when we AMSA folks gather, we work hard ... and play hard!
