A Pretty Cool First

Today, I experienced a pretty neat "first" --- after watching and assisting with five births, I got to deliver my first baby today, a very healthy baby boy that was screaming and pink upon arrival! His mother was thrilled, as she had hoped for a boy following her two girls. If all deliveries could be this smooth --- a pain-free epidural, a little pressure, and a couple of pushes, and he was out! So, little one, welcome to the world ... you're in for quite a special ride.
