Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of these things and still be calm in your heart.

Leaving One's Mark

I took a quick weekend trip last Saturday to Madison County to see the famous bridges. It had been a couple of months since I had been out and about with my camera, and I was itching to go. I couldn't have picked a sloppier day, however. It was a delight to finally have some warm weather, but it sure made driving on gravel roads to the covered bridges a rather harrowing experience.

I was impressed with their simplicity, and the red boards were beautiful through the camera lens against the white snow. The abundant graffiti, sadly, was not so pretty. I firmly believe in leaving one's mark in life. I just prefer that it's not left ON something ... thought you would enjoy some pictures, nonetheless!

Oh, poor Steve Irwin! This was an awful poem.

Parents, don't let your kids graffiti!

I need to look this doctor up ...

If you need toasters, head to Ireland!

If you're going to graffiti, at least SPELL correctly!
