Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of these things and still be calm in your heart.

Graduation Feast

For those of you have experienced eating Moroccan food and for those of you who have not experienced eating Moroccan food, I HIGHLY recommend Marrakesh! I celebrated graduation with great friends and great food --- you had to knock on the restaurant door to be let in, and we sat around a low table and ate with our hands. Before the first of seven courses were served, a waiter 'washed' our hands with hot towels and water ... and then there was the belly dancer!

Anderson, Ricardo, and Lis ...

Lara, Ramona, and me ...

Eating round number six ...

Karen, Emily, and Saqi ...

Celebrating at a Brazilian dance party later on ... with the Brazilians! Apparently, as I learned that night, the necklaces have significance ... the red ones mean "I'm taken." The yellow ones mean, "I'll think about it ..." And the green ones mean, "I'm available!" (Notice I'm wearing two!)

Lauren,
You know you smile like a Brazilian? At least like these three. It's great!
