Sunday morning brought graduation part two --- the all-university graduation on the National Mall facing the Capitol! The ceremony alternated between sunshine and light sprinkles and grew a little long, but standing as a group of graduates to have our degrees conferred at the end and seeing hundreds of cap tosses was pretty picturesque, especially considering the surroundings. Wolf Blitzer and Harvey Fineberg, the Institute of Medicine president, among others were awarded honorary doctoral degrees ... even "George and Martha" arrived to help celebrate! Many thanks to Lis, Ricardo, James, and Toby for coming!
