Happy Earth Day

With George Washington being as expensive as it is, I jump at anything free ... yesterday, I attended a free "Stop Global Warming College Tour" spearheaded by Laurie David and Sheryl Crow at the basketball arena here on campus. In addition to those two, Carole King, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Larry David performed and/or spoke. I was quite impressed --- the camera crews got a great shot of all students waving their energy-saving lightbulbs at the end. Here's an interesting fact ... did you know that Americans throw away 2.5 million plastic water bottles every HOUR? Scary.
