I happened upon a couple free tickets to the National Cathedral's Easter service this past week, so my friend Jeff and I enjoyed the gorgeous processions (complete with ribbons, flowers, and trumpets), music, and sermon from the balcony. It was a packed house, as you can well imagine, and the organ music - while beautiful - was so deafening that neither of us ever knew which verse we were singing! Afterward, Jeff, who is a fantastic D.C. tour guide, led me on a tour of the stained glass windows, President Wilson's tomb, and the mysteries of the gargoyles. And nothing like a little Mexican brunch to finish the afternoon!

Happy Easter, Lauren! Love the photos and the blog. (Another Sunday night procrastinating on a paper - we had the same discussion via email last week -- thought I'd see what was up with your blog). Good luck finishing the semester!
Happy Easter Lauren! I had a great time catching up with you via your blobspot. Great pictures and great work. Talk to you soon. Miss you!
