It has been a long two months of classwork, conferences, and visitors, so I promised myself that I would take my birthday weekend off to celebrate not only turning 28 but the start of the National Cherry Blossom Festival --- that would have been a great idea except for the rough draft of a paper due tomorrow that I have yet to start!!! I'll be getting to that soon ... but thought I would pass along some photos first! My AMSA friend Megan was in town, so we celebrated both our birthdays with a night out dancing. And then my friend Lis from Brazil and a few other Brazilians came out in force! I was up WAAAAAY too late but had a great time ...
